New versions of Healthy Urban Planning Checklist and Rapid HIA Tool published

HUDU has published new versions of the Healthy Urban Planning Checklist and its Rapid Health Impact Assessment Tool. The new versions incorporate changes to relevant planning policy and other documents since they were first published in March 2014 and Jan 2013 respectively. One of the key changes is to update all the London Plan references to reflect the further alterations to the Plan adopted in March 2015. The Checklist and the Rapid HIA tool offer different ways of helping to promote healthy urban planning and mainstream health issues and impacts into the planning process depending on the scale and nature of development proposed.
